hello!,
An artist named Glenn Barr did a piece like this were AstroBoy was fighting Ghidora, why? i dont know. I felt there should have been more detail in the enviornment. I also dont agree with some of his other work. but anyway i decided to do my own AstroBoy!
Ive decided to have fun on this piece, but also have a lot of patience. this drawing is originally 10x13. i then continued to color in photoshop 7. i was frustrated cause i wanted to add more details, for instance a highway system and more neon signs. I felt if i did too much it would become a clustered mess.
Thanks for looking and i appreciate your time.

Sweet! Nice fan art. I like the little robot guy on the right on top of one of the buildings too. Nice touch and nice detail. I will always have a weakness for images of giant monsters threatening unsuspecting cities. Why? No clue. At any rate, yours is fantastic.
Glenn Barr's done a few Kaiju type weird paintings. i really dig this Astroboy piece. Its nice to see astro fighting monsters in a regular type city. people always seem to go overboard with the signage in these kinds of drawings.
Dude! Astro Boy rules! The details you placed into that image is amazing. It really has me feeling like that's a still from a new Astro Boy movie. Excellent stuff. Keep the greatness coming.

The building perspective is VERY well rendered!
And the heat effect looks nice too (the one by astroboy feet)
